  • This is a phenomenal roast, especially if you like cacao nibs! I love cacao nibs and eat them on salad and ice cream, so I may be a bit biased towards the flavor. They smell is striking, as if it is pure cacao nibs, and the flavor follows suit, complemented by a nice acidity and a simple sweetness.

This is an excellent roast! Full of flavor, balanced, unique, lively, and somehow magnified/enhanced the cream I added. Flavors notes were honey, molasses, and a natural fruitiness.

  • This is a unique roast with a very clean balance! A bit floral, with some light milk chocolate, centered around a deeply sweet cherry. Remarkably consistent flavor with a light mouthfeel. I could imagine this as a real treat as a summer cold brew.

This is a superb roast! Well-balanced, flavorful, and unique. I imagine this would be a nice spring season roast with a purple vibe: lilac, lavender, blueberry, strawberry, and a bit of a walnut/toffee, accompanied by classic light roast essence.

  • This is a complex roast-- hits high notes (lemon, citrus) and deeper (tart walnut with a bit of roasted hazelnut) notes. Well-crafted and enjoyable. There is a nice accompanying acidity. I would call this an excellent light roast, but I think it is actually a medium roast.

  • A unique and delightful masterpiece-- light roast flavors flow in this intriguing roast! The flavor profile centers around a rose/floral, with peach and graham as secondary flavors. There are touches of lemon, vanilla, and guava. This is a sweet roast with a nice acidity. It finished with a bit of astringency.

  • Wow, this is the most uniquely flavored coffee I've sampled! It is a bit hard to tease out from a single cup, but the flavors were distinctly melon-centric. I feel like I could taste ALL the melons at once-- watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew, balanced out with an underlying earthiness. The earthy/floral/melon aroma that accompanied the cup was an additional unique surprise. I imagine that a flavor profile this unique could be quite divisive, but I liked it. Less remarkably, there was a nice, sweet acidity and a rich mouthfeel.

  • This is an outstanding roast! I can tell it has been naturally processed, as the flavors are complex and a little earthy. There is a bit of tartness, some acidity, a light sweetness, balanced and strong flavor. Hard to dissect and pinpoint the flavor layers, but I would say it was reminiscent of key lime pie, lavender, and walnut.

  • A unique, complex cold brew (with a can design that seems straight off the IPA shelf)! It hits with strong chocolate notes -- a slight bitterness bends the impression towards dark chocolate. The secondary flavor was a lightly sweet and tart raspberry. Rounding out the profile, there were hints of a salty smokiness with a light wash of malt. A masterpiece!

Wow, I don't add any sweetener to coffee, so I really notice when a roast is sweet... and this was very sweet! The sweetness, paired with an unusually strong coffee flavor, makes this extremely drinkable. There was a bit of a light chocolate/nutty/citrus undertone. I'm ranking this coffee 5 stars, even though there is less acidity than I prefer, because it is really that good and I also give Del's bonus points for supporting Fair Trade arrangements with organic certification.
