This cold brew is a well-crafted treat! It is quite tart, with a sweet citrus forward flavor. Broadsheet has crafted a winner with this compelling brew.

I don't know why Broadsheet can't do a better job labeling its roast levels, but once I worked through this was a medium or at least a light-medium, I could have a greater appreciation for it. It definitely has a nice chocolate character, with natural sweetness (maple syup?) and a nice acidity, perhaps cherry.

It also worked as espresso, kicking out a nice medium crema for smooth sipping.

I think this is quite a good roast overall, especially as the quality from Uganda still seems pretty mixed

A tasty Snapchil cold brew style can thats very fun. The clearest note is the Granny Smith Apple. This can has a good amount of natural sweetness, in the caramel range, and I also pick up nuts.

Granny Smith plus caramel plus almond? Well, thats a candied apple! I enjoyed this one.

This was definitely a tart cold brew balanced with some earthy tones that gave it a yummy and complex taste. It was a little acidic for my taste but still a very enjoyable drink!

I had this as espresso at Revival Kitchen in Lexington. It's certainly an interesting pick to use as a rotating house espresso given how light the roast is. My wife didn't grade her cappuccino as she didn't like and wasn't sure whether it was her or the coffee.

I did like this as a light roast espresso. Though it's pretty tart, there's enough natural sweetness to keep it from being out of bounds, with some good complexity and interplay across blood orange, hibiscus, and some florality. There wasn't much of a crema, but the structure and mouthfeel was good overall, and it was pretty enjoyable as a whole.

I tried Bulletin Blend 2 ways today at Koko Coffee, first as espresso (pictured) at the bar, and then took a filter coffee home.

Espresso: good overall character with nice chocolate notes and some blackberry fruitiness and caramel notes. Didn't quite evolve the way I wanted and had a bit of bitterness mid-palate.

Drip: Smooth, chocolatey flavor profile with good balance and structure, a little bit of acidity. No wow factor for me but very enjoyable.

My verdict from these two is I'd be happy to have these a house blend or a versatile workhorse. I've had enough coffee to recognize this as the type good cafe blends that keep everyone happy but maybe doesn't blow away those are very particular about their coffee.

I am a Broadsheet fan though I didn't take notes on the pourovers I had from there before I started writing for this site, so that is an upcoming effort to undertake.

This cup hit me with a nice chocolately beginning and a tart cherry ending. It could have been a little more complex in the middle to be a truly exceptional coffee.
