The Nano Genji micro-lot from Western Ethiopia has become an early Summer staple. Coffee from the Agaro region is the first sign of fresh East African coffees to arrive in North America and subsequently, our roastery. We have long enjoyed these coffees for their unique cup profile, this season you can expect a citrus laden cup, with sweet stone fruit and brown sugar lingering on the palate. This coffee performs exceedingly well as a filter brew. This is our fourth season purchasing coffee from the Nano Genji site. We’ve long been fans of coffees from Agaro, and were excited for the sibling mill of Nano Challa to open. With brand new Penagos equipment, and over 600 members of coffee producers, the potential for quality has been high. Each season Nano Genji has exceeded expectations, proving their expertise in processing and focus on quality. Each season, we partner with Red Fox Coffee in order to secure our lots from these mills.
