The espresso beans from Café Noir are Rainforest Alliance certified. These beans consist of 100% Arabica coffee beans, which are primarily grown in South and Central America.
Café Noir mainly uses washed Arabica beans, which gives the coffee its aromatic and rich taste. The beans are placed in large vats of water for a certain number of hours to promote the rich and delicious sweetness. The unwashed Arabica beans are dried in the sun and added to give the coffee a round and soft taste. The washed beans therefore require more time and attention than the unwashed ones.
