Buchiro—produced by the Muungano cooperative—enjoys an excellent position to produce coffee with fantastic quality. This organic coffee comes from the Buchiro washing station, found on the serene shores of Lake Kivu. Rich volcanic soils, local Bourbon varieties, and breathtaking elevations converge in this selection to bring vibrant flavors of limeade, kiwi, and black tea.

The region's Arabica coffee plants, grown at elevations ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 meters above sea level, benefit from the perfect combination of warm days and cool nights, allowing the coffee cherries to develop slowly and enhancing the beans' flavor profiles.
