The aroma was really sweet, juicy, complex and process forward. Red fruits dominated. Cherry notes came through strongest. Loads of ripe red raspberry too. Hibiscus tea was also quite prominent. Pomegranate was noticeable as well. Sweet, delicate stone fruits were also detectable. Nice peach skin and nectarine presence. As the coffee cooled, subtle floral notes appeared. Jasmine perhaps. Later, the floral notes intensified, as did the overall sweetness. The flavor profile was also super sweet, juicy and process forward. Red fruits also dominated here. Cherry notes were most prominent. Nice red raspberry quality as well. Juicy stone fruits appeared as the coffee moved along the palate. Ripe peach specifically. Excellent crisp, zippy, lemony tartness in the center. Lemonade came to mind. Floral notes were detectable here too. Jasmine specifically. More sweet-tart berry notes and a zippy, cranberry-like acidity on the back end and the finish. Some drying hibiscus tea notes and tannins lingered after the swallow. Overall, outstanding sweetness in both the aroma and the flavor. Fantastic acidity in both as well. Terrific juicy, creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Despite this being a rather process-forward coffee, it was nevertheless clean and focused and still allowed the stunning terroir of the beans shine through.
