A nicely roasted coffee that lands right in the middle of the road in a lot of ways for light roast. Smooth, easy to drink with very clean acidity. I get black tea, light raspberry, and just a hint of grapefruit.

Cupping Method:Chemex pourover. My friend brought me the bag from Madrid.

Tastes like chocolate! Thought it would develop a little bit more but good.

This roast is incredibly flavorful! The flavor is complex and layered, with a bit of a toasted pecan/ aged oak riding the high notes and an underbelly of acidic sweet/tart cherry.

The powder has a fermented, potent aroma. The taste begins delicately, with the flavor of hot cocoa being quite pronounced, followed by a hint of black fruits towards the end.

More Details

Roast Level: Light
Light roast coffee is a delicately roasted coffee that retains more of the beans' natural flavors and characteristics. Light-roasted coffees have bright acidity, complex fruit, and floral notes. Light roast coffee does not have less caffeine than darker roasts because caffeine levels remain stable during roasting.
Bean Source Country: Nicaragua
Nicaraguan coffee is celebrated for its well-balanced and approachable taste. Grown primarily in the fertile volcanic highlands, the coffee beans benefit from a unique combination of nutrient-rich soils, high altitude, and mild climate, which imparts a smooth, medium body and gentle acidity to the brew. Nicaraguan coffee is known for its delightful flavor notes, which include milk chocolate, caramel, and toasted nuts, accented by a subtle touch of stone fruits and citrus.
