Fair Trade

Introduced as a Fair Trade single-origin coffee in 2005, Las Hermanas ("The Sisters") reflects Peet’s commitment to sustainable partnerships and the positive impact on its growers. Produced by a sisterhood of 200 women from SOPPEXCAA, a local coffee cooperative in the highlands of Jinotega, Nicaragua, this coffee represents a dedication to quality, equality, and community. Through rigorous cultivation practices and a continuous drive to improve, these growers have progressed from subsistence farming to sustainability. Roasted to a smooth medium, the result is a cup with milk chocolate sweetness and a satisfying, creamy texture.

It truly has notes of chocolate, caramel and toasted nuts. Does not need sweetener. I like it with a little milk. My all time favorite.

Cupping Method:I have it every Tuesday and Thursday at Lifetime Fitness coffee hour for Aurora members, aka "Senior Citizens."
