San Ysidro is our Medium Dark Colombian roast. We roast these beans to bring out all of the flavors within for an amazingly smooth cup of coffee. Colombia has a rich history of coffee production and is a standard at many coffee shops. As the third-largest exporter of coffee in the world, Colombia is known for its noteworthy coffee beans. The climate, soil, and elevation of Colombia make it a perfect location to grow coffee. Colombian coffees are known for their rich, mild flavors that make then better suited for darker roasts. Named after the community that serves as a point of entry between San Diego and Tijuana, we recommend this roast for anyone looking to enter the world of specialty coffee. San Ysidro is a mostly Hispanic city in San Diego. It is a wonderful example of San Diego’s diversity that goes back to its founding.
