An stunning coffee, floral, super tropical. Some strawberry and black tea.Cupping Method:Friend brought back a couple coffees from Canada. This was a single cup sample (I think that's all he would give me). Made it in my ceramic Hario v60.

Delicately balanced with perfect bright acidity through (raspberry and sweet mandarin orange as the roaster described it is exactly what I got). Changes to black tea than milk chocolate platform for me after cooling.Cupping Method:Hario v60, 203F and 205F. Didn't catch a huge difference between the two.

Coffee that is so complex and multi-faceted (but delicious) it takes a lot of effort to describe. I am on my 3rd cupping here. I think first think that comes to mind is pink lemonade Starburst, then the really sweet ruby red grapefruit. I also get lavender and cocoa powder. The acidity is bright with a slight hibiscus character, and it's hard to stop drinking this one.Cupping Method:Pourover at 200F, 203F, 205F.

This Carmen Estates Gesha is a coffee that truly captivates the senses. Upon the first sip, it's immediately evident that this is a coffee of exceptional quality.
The Earl Grey and bergamot notes are pronounced, offering a sophisticated and aromatic experience. The floral and tropical elements are intertwined, creating a delightful complexity. The initial burst of cherry and pineapple is brigh.
As the coffee lingers on the palate, the subtlety of Satsuma and lime emerges towards the end, adding layers of nuance to the flavor profile. What's remarkable is that the bergamot note remains present throughout, ensuring a harmonious and balanced taste from start to finish. Theres definitely a lot of acidity here, so folks should note that depending on their preferences.Cupping Method:Brewed at 201/203F in a Hario v60. Oddball look lot with a very earthy almost cumin like nose. A unique coffee with very low acidity. I still got the cumin, earthiness, and a fruit like persimmon. I liked it but I'm a bit surprised this was a Panama coffee. -

Super interesting nose. Much cleaner than recent Burundian coffee Ive had, very smooth and fruity. Black tea, cocoa, satsuma orange, and a lot of red fruit, currant, raspberry. Almost fruit punchy with the natural sweetness.Cupping Method:Hario v60, 203F

I thought this was easy-to-drink and very tasty. It was balanced in florality and fruitness, with white grape definitely present, and perhaps some more muted berry notes. It drank a bit more full-bodied than a lot of Ethiopians I've had recently, with some milk chocolate hints and black tea more in the background.Cupping Method:Hario v60 pourover at 203F. This roast has a nice mouthfeel and a full body. There is a touch of astringency, which makes me think of pear with a hint of toffee.Cupping Method:Vietnamese drip, cream with no sweetener

Rogue Wave recommended this roast as espresso and Ive been working with it for the last 10 days. It was great for lattes and my wife really enjoyed hers. Also, does a really good iced Americano as the ice and dilution helps draw out some of the sweeter citrus character.
I definitely pick up some of the toffee and chocolate character in sipping espresso. A lot of citrus character as well though its not really tart at all. Fair amount of grapefruit here, which makes sense in espresso but washes out the other citrus a bit until you mix it.
Inexpensive and fun single origin espresso from a great roaster!Cupping Method:A lot of ways! Espresso, iced and hot Americano, cortiado.

Blind tasting. I picked up right away that this was a Thai coffee. not totally sure why, but I thought it was a bit flat in the cup. Just slightly herbal, with pleasant mouthfeel and good natural sweetness. it's a bit grapefruit and hoppy mid palate which is ok for me. The other Thai coffee in this season of leaderboard was quite a bit better I thought.Cupping Method:tried it at 197F and 203F.
