It was so hectic with visitors in town that I forgot to review this one, and I must have deleted the picture I took. This pulls a nice sticky crema and drinks like a medium espresso. It's milk chocolate, pretty fruity, and has a roasted hazelnut note that's not over the top.

It has some complexity and balanced acidity. Everything was good here, I'm not sure there was one super outstanding attribute and depth of flavor. Everyone was happy with their lattes and cappucinos.

More Details

Roast Level: Light Medium
A Light Medium Roast coffee, sometimes referred to as a "City Roast" or "American Roast," lies between a light and medium roast. This roast level strikes a balance by preserving the coffee bean's unique characteristics while allowing for a moderate development of body and flavor. The beans have a medium brown color, exhibiting a slight sheen of oils, providing a more balanced and nuanced flavor profile. A Light Medium Roast typically highlights the coffee's inherent fruity, floral, or citrus notes, while also providing some of the deeper, richer flavors associated with medium roasts.
Bean Source Country: Brazil
Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer, has traditionally been known for its vast output of commodity-grade coffee, including a significant volume of Robusta beans. However, in recent years, the country has made a concerted effort to enhance the quality of its microlots, aiming to solidify its reputation within the specialty coffee sector including greater cultivation of higher-quality Arabica. These initiatives have contributed to developing coffee microlots with distinct flavor profiles, with Brazilian coffee notably known for rich notes of chocolate, nuts, and fruit.
