These were the beans for maybe the best cold brew that I have ever had. Bright strawberry, natural sweetness like a maple syrup, and a touch of nuttiness and dried blueberry.Cupping Method:Cold Brew at La Deseada, Calle Jose Abascal in Madrid (a specialty coffee shop that very much knows what it is doing)

Best cafe con leche out of maybe 20 in Madrid was from Arya Cafe. This is the espresso they used.Traits: flavorful

Incredible depth of flavor and complexity. Earthiness, florality, fine dark chocolate, spice, red wine. Perfect mouthfeel, clean finish with pleasant linger. Crema was medium. Nomad is getting trippy for me. Had some cold brew at Santa Kafeina and was blown away. Peachy, nice acidity, just a touch nutty. Incredibly clean and smooth. Asked for the roast and was told it was this espresso. I cant remember an espresso roast being used for cold brew. Then I saw the bag and the characteristics matched the cold brew. Nomad is so good its trippy. -

A wonderful light roast espresso. A nutty/almond character at the front of the palate. Very balanced acidity with a hint of tropical org. I definitely get plum but not in the way its normally used as a descriptor. This plum is how they taste just before they turn too ripe, some sugar but also that unique acidity. Very nice.Cupping Method:Espresso, extraction at 95 C on my A53 Spaziale worked well

I think this tastes like papaya cotton candy. It is pretty trippy and unique, and doesn't taste like any coffee I've ever had before (and that's a lot). It's absolutely delicious. I get a hint of slivered almond and some other tropical notes. Very smooth and clean.Cupping Method:Hario v60 pourover, 205 degrees

Well balanced cup with a really cool grape Jolly Rancher mid-palate, and honey sweetness. Silky mouthfeel characteristic of Nomad roasts. I think it could use a brighter acidity note somewhere in there to bring it all together, but and enjoyable and easy to drink cup overall.Cupping Method:92C, 18:1 on v60. Revolver Advent Calendar.

So, there is a lovely balance of complex sweetness and acidity and very complimentary flavours of fruit and nut chocolate bars. It reminds me a bit of raisin and apple turnover pastries, too. I agree with Ted on this one that it has some amazing acidity but doesn't have quite the smoothness/finish I like. -

I am provisionally entering this as a 4.5, but might change it as I dial-in my pourover here and the beans perhaps de-gas.
This coffee is very unique and has some remarkable characteristics, notably a vibrant passionfruit/tangerine tang in the mid-palate that lingers through the rest of the cup. That alone made me very happy, as I've had a series of light roast California coffees that are very smooth but lacking acidity. That's not a problem at all here, and Nomad coffees typically espress acidity beautifully.
That mid-palate is the strongest part of the coffee, I think it's not quite a superstar finish as the acidity fades away.Cupping Method:Chemex Pourover, 2 days after roasting initially.

This roast made a super smooth and thoroughly enjoyable latte. As an espresso, it was wildly tart on the first sip and then mellowed out as it cooled, though the predominant flavor stayed tart. Nomad roasts keep bringing the fun flavor sensations!Cupping Method:Espresso and latte
