Outstanding Ethiopian with a ton of blackcurrant fruitiness. White tea, hint of jasmine and honeysuckle. Very sweet naturally. Just a very slight hint of sangria.

This drink was in fact amazing.
It said the ingredients were soda chai, zero proof whiskey, cold coffee, yuzu, angostura, lapsang souchong, orange.

A lovely washed Ethiopian that sits on the usual black tea platform. This one has balanced acidity, for me dried apricot and bit of bergamot. It's very pleasant and easy to drink.Cupping Method:Hario v60 pourover. Comparison tasting with a Colombian from Great Minds in CT. Got this from the Revolver Advent Calendar.

Peachy, apricot black tea. Sweet with a full mouthfeel. A touch of summer white wine. Quite nice. Acidity is quite bright, black tea is balanced.

I found this Kenyan to be similar (possibly the same producer?) to a Speedwell roast (linked below) I didn't love earlier this year. I did like this one more, but it had the same cloying, slightly stringent aftertaste, like a underripe melon. This one has bright blackcurrant note upfront and a good amount of sweetness, almost like Ribena, with acidity that's bright across but moves into that slightly unpleasant note to finish.Cupping Method:18:1, 92C, Hario v60. This one I brewed on the light side but still had a lot of body. Could perhaps have gone even lighter. Came from the Revolver Advent Calendar.
