A special coffee. I've sampled a raft of coffees from Burundi in the past few weeks, and this is far and away the best one. On the grind, there is distinct nose of rum raisin ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. It's smoothness and balance in the cup is outstanding. Lots and lots of natural sweetness. It's a hybrid black tea and milk chocolate platform with a distinct caramel. It finishes with a bit of key lime. What a wonderful cup of coffee.

A nice light roast. Strongest note is black tea, and I also get some bergamot and a tropical hint like a guava. Good acidity and fairly smooth. Slightly grapefruit hint in the aftertaste but other might.

Great aroma on the grind, cocoa, fruity.

I know Black Oak is a great roaster, but maybe I'm not a match to their style, or just not had great luck.

This coffee is interesting/complex, but is dominated by a strong grapefruit note in the middle of the palate rides over some pleasant subtle caramel. It has a wonderful milk chocolate aroma, and the milk chocolate is definitely present.

I wrestled with this one a bit. It literally tastes like ruby red grapefruit juice right down to getting a bit of rind in the bite. I like it bit I dont think its for everyone. Theres a bit of black tea and brown sugar in the background but the grapefruit is definitely the most prominent for me here.

Blind tasting from Angel's cup. Super Smooth. A little short acidity/fruit for me but the low-acid folks might love this one. Interesting umami mid-palate, not so much as to be overwhelming bad adds a bit of character.

Hints of kiwi, caramel. Overall pretty different than of what Ive been drinking but very pleasant.

Wife thought alkaline (I think she meant low acidity).

Smells of milk chocolate. Tastes of citrus dominate. Not for me, but some people would love it.
