Learned about Mayorga Coffee from their Mayan Blend I bought at Costco. Looked them up on the web and ordered their Bolivia Caranavi Light Roast. I was impressed. Sweet, smooth, with a silky body and a pleasent slight acidity at the end. I will definetly be trying more of their offerings in the future.

Tried something different this morning. I saw this at Costco and was intrigued. It is a Honduras, Guatemalan, Mexican blend. I normally don't buy mass marketed coffee, but thought I would give this a try. There's no roast on date, but there is a best used by date of January 2024, so I'm assuming it was probably roasted in January 2023. It was fairly good. It was pretty smooth, very chocolatey and you could detect some slight floral notes. No bitterness or staleness which you sometime get with Mass marketed coffee. Not as good as fresh coffee from most local roasters, but if you need some mass quantity coffee for an event or big gathering, this was only $9.75 a pound and it beats most mass marketed coffees I've tried.
