Clean light roast espresso. A little bit too tart for medium. Good flavor characteristics with low bitterness. Nice crema.Cupping Method:Double espresso at Fairgrounds, Chicago Millenium Park.

Formerly recognized as Alterra Coffee Roasters until July 2013, the company produces its coffee blends and food items within Milwaukee, gaining a prominent reputation as a wholesale coffee distributor nationwide. Mars Inc. acquired Alterra in 2010 and uses it for many of its convenience format brands, notably Freshpacks pouches for Flavia machines.
A significant shift occurred on July 28, 2013, when the Alterra cafes and specialty roasting spun back out rebranded to Colectivo Coffee, with its former owners at the helm.
