Hard to describe how good this is.
When hot, I get lemongrass and lime acidity trailing a big chocolate note on the front palate. A vein of blood range acidity runs throughout the cup. It's very nicely balanced and structured with great natural sweetness. Very smooth.Cupping Method:Blind tasting out of the Revolver Advent Calendar, Day 1. The producer used a 72hour anaerobic fermentation, then washed the cherries in hot and then cold water. The resulting cup was an explosion of flavor like nothing I had expected. It had this intense strawberry jam sweetness mixed with a vibrant tropical acidity with a warm cinnamon spice note. My appreciation for this coffee is down to the incredible innovation in processing. It is an indication of producers pushing the whole idea of flavor further by creating entirely new and exciting flavor profiles from the coffee cherry itself.Cupping Method:This is part of our Expert Picks Series. Delicate, clean pink Bourbon that is clean and balanced. For me, notes of mango and blackcurrant with a green apple acidity. Slight floral overtone, perhaps very light jasmine and bergamot.Cupping Method:At Lynx Coffee in Los Angeles as pourover

A lovely Ethiopian with some
bite in the black tea note, and a grape, blueberry, and blackcurrant mid-palate. Smooth and pleasant mouthfeel with balance throughout. No fireworks but a nice origin roast.
Very clean, even looking roast on variety sized heirloom beans.Cupping Method:I had a 15g sample and made it 17:1 at 92C with the Hario v60.

A bit of a single note coffee but the one note is really good. Fruity, pink lemonade, berries. Light tea platform and clean but simple finish. Good natural sweetness and mouthfeel.Cupping Method:Revolver Advent Calendar. 17:1, 92C in v60.

Very fruity and apple forward with a tea background. A little similarity to Turkish apple tea, and quite different from most Kenyans. But just a bit flat and one note on the two brews I had. Fruit, without acidity, is a tad cloying.Cupping Method:v60 at two temps, came out similar both times.
