Excellent in both ways I consumed it. Incredible aroma. Smooth. Not bitter. Not too acidic. Will buy more of this!

This is an outstanding medium roast espresso. It's aromatic, complex, well-balanced, and structured. It makes a lush crema (see photo on the right) and makes great espresso drinks. We had 5 espresso roasts we rated 4 or 4.5 testing in the machine over the past 2 weeks and this one blew them all away. Definitely just need to be aware this is a lighter espresso roast.

Cupping Method:Spaziale A53 Lucca, 94 degrees celsius. Espresso, latte, iced Americano.

I put this medium roast in my espresso machine and got out something pretty remarkable. A perfectly balanced medium shot of espresso with a lush, velvety crema. Earthy with minerality. Wife, not a straight espresso drinker, liked it when I made her sip it.

Couldnt get it to work on Moka Pot, brought out a bit too many bitter notes.

Cupping Method:A53 Lucca Spaziale espresso machine, 94 degrees celsius. Espresso, iced Americano, hot Americano all worked well. Moka pot didn't.

Fine. Not noteworthy, but I drank it all. Great aroma! Not bitter.

I bought a bag of this, and I haven't gotten a great result from a few different extractions. I think this bag is roasted a bit past light. It's probably a little bit more acidic and maybe a little bit more bitter roast. The most drinkable one I probably did a little bit too much water which softened up the problematic notes a bit.

Cupping Method:Pourover, v60 and Chemex attempts. Purchased from Concord Market.

The smell was rich and deep so I had high hopes, but the flavor was not very complex. It wasnt bad, just not great.

Unique but relatively weaker flavor, with a dry finish. I was left wishing for a stronger flavor.
