### Review: Goodboybob Mexico Gesha
Mexican Gesha was inevitable, and its interesting to see them starting to arrive. This one actually reminds me a bit of the Panamanians that we were drinking and celebrating five years ago. I think some varieties have gotten too floral, but this one is balanced.
Goodboybobs Mexico Gesha offers a balanced cup of coffee with a pleasant mix of floral and fruity notes. The flavor profile includes sweet orange, black cherry, lavender, black tea, and a subtle hibiscus finish. The acidity could be a bit brighter, but the coffee has a smooth mouthfeel and a clean finish.

I missed putting this one in but actually had a little left today. Re-cupping didn't change my opinion. It's a clean cup with a nice mouthfeel. Chocolate, honey, and a slightly hoppiness. A good one one to have around for desserts as it's pretty neutral, but missing acidity and brightness to make it standout (which I find common with decaf).

This roast has a strong coffee flavor, leaning more towards a medium roast. The flavors evolve with each sip and also moving through the cup. There is a nice acidity that lends a bit of sweetness, swelling more towards the end of the cup. There is a lighter sweetness that hits with each sip before turning darker. Another very cherry coffee from Goodboybob which seems to be a theme with the sampler I picked for them. Id put the cherry in the ripe/dark flavor range.
A slight almond nuttiness. A little bit of brightness in the acidity. Overall, it could use a little bit more complexity, brightness, and sweetness.
Its an easy drinker that doesnt stand out.Cupping Method:I got this in a sampler ordered directly from Goodboybob. Made it 196F, 18:1 with Hario v60. May add notes as I want to give it a shot with espresso.
