The Roasting Company, located on the lively strip of Montford Drive, was founded by owner Doug Bell (in photo) in 1991 after visiting a restaurant in Costa Rica which featured incredible rotisserie chicken and unique, flavorful sauces. “One of our original partners told me about this place in Costa Rica, and when I went to check it out, I was hooked. We struck a deal to buy their marinade and a few other recipes, and that has been the core of our menu ever since,” Bell said.The Roasting Company has something for everyone: vegetarians, the health conscious, the not-so health conscious, kids, youth, and adults.
