This was a very nice blend that I got on drip for a long car ride. It was light and smooth with a very nice natural sweetness. I definitely picked up the florals and peach from the Ethiopian component.Cupping Method:From King Coffee in Manhattan

Very often plum and maple are notes that sounds appealing in coffee, but actually represented sort of unpleasant characteristics. A plum sweetness can sometimes be an out of balance acidity, maple a funky or woody sweetness. That's not the case here.
The acidity here is a just right plum, when it's nicely balanced between sweet and tart. That's the highlight. I think it's more pluot that black plum, but hey!
The maple is subtle but I do get it. The sweetness/mouthfeel is a little thin compared to the very best Kenyans I've had this year, but I did like this coffee overall.Cupping Method:Hario v60, 92C, 18:1. From PDX Coffee Calendar.

Cleaning up old notes. Had this one from Bean Archives in November. A well executed classic Ethopian, tea, stonefruit, some purple fruit, light bergamot. Balanced with good sweetness and medium mouthfeel. -

This decaf espresso brings a tart and complex taste to the table, featuring notes of unsweetened dried apricot, bergamot, and a hint of maple syrup. It has a light mouthfeel, but the crema is nicely formed, adding to the visual appeal. Despite its promising aspects, the espresso doesn't fully deliver a harmonious experience.
