Cupping Method:Espresso at 1884 Cafe near the Chateau Frontenac
As espresso at Cantook, earthy, floral, tart. Some tart cherry and bergamot. Complex with a light medium crema.
Cantook Decaf. chocolate. Medium crema. Plum, pepper, black cherry…pepper hits 3/4 of the way through. Very satisfying night cap. Wasn't going to have one until I saw this small cafe.
Absolutely incredible. Massive depth of chocolate flavor. Bright acidity. with blackberry and red plum fruitiness. Some complexity. This was made via Kyoto style slow drip. Linger on the finish is milk chocolate and slightly raisin (raisin etc?) I actually don't know what the roast was but looking forward to more visits to this shop.
