We believe that following the guidance of Indigenous Wisdom, and looking 7 generations forward and 7 generations behind, is essential when guiding our support of our farmers, our community, and our employees. We believe that our own long term longevity is intrinsically linked to the health of the planet and humanity. We believe in limiting non-essential inputs to our business. We believe that good products start with the raw resources from which they are derived; we will work as best we can to encourage that those raw resources are sourced with the most environmentally and socially aware practices possible from around the world. We believe that people should be treated with respect and integrity. These are people intimately involved with the Roastery as well as vendors, customers, and others we come into contact with and work with. We believe that while an Organic and Fair Trade certification is desired, many farmers, while practicing these standards, cannot afford the certification and we work to support these farms as well. We believe that the story of the people on each estate we sources from is essential to understand and pass along to our customers. We also believe that the ability to make change begins at home. Because of this belief we stay involved in our community and supporting the work of others bringing powerful change and enhancing the lives of others.
