    Empire Blend

    Tried Victrola Coffee Roasters Empire Blend, a Latin American blend with a full body and thicker mouth feel. It is roasted a little darker than I normally get but picked it up in Washington State and wanted to give it a try. The tasting notes include dried fruit, caramelized sugar, and sandalwood. I picked up the caramelized sugar with a strong roasted almond taste evident. A decent alternative for those looking to move from light to medium or medium dark roast.
