I just got this coffee today, September 23 and it was roasted six days ago. normally, I'd give it another three weeks, play with it, dial it in before scoring but I don't need to here. this is a fantastic Ethiopian that I can't stop drinking. lots of natural sweetness, and a really smooth mouth feel.

For me, it's peach iced tea with a kick of lavender. I could drink this for days. it's almost dangerously good.

This is a very good cafe style medium roast espresso. Good depth of flavor in the chocolate note up front, a blueberry/blackberry fruity hit, a little bit of caramel and walnut.

Made solid lattes and cortados. Vibrant has a consistent roasting style and the sourcing and blending seem quite good.

Cupping Method:Espressos and cortados. Lattes for my wife. Went through a 4oz bag pretty quickly.

I held out on the review for this as I thought maybe I could get it over the top to a 5-star with a dial-in. The Keramo I just had from Vibrant was senstation. I especially liked a lemony-sweetness with this natural, to go along with some tea and floral notes. I never really got a brightness in the city and maybe that's a barista failing rather than the coffee. The Keramo was a more traditional Ethiopian for sure.

This has the characteristic wonderful, silky, glycerine mouthfeel of a Colombian chiroso, and it is very smooth. I found very simple and clean, orangey citrus with a touch of cherry and blackberry. I didn't get much brightness like I have with other chirosos to pair with the great mouthfeel. This was solid for me but I don't think I'd recommend it over any other chiroso I've previously had.

    Cupping Method:Hario v60, 18:1 3x from Vibrant 100g pack (gave some away).

This roast has a light, clean, feel, with a citrus-forward flavor. The flavor transitions to peach and finishes with a bit of a classic light roast flavor. Intriguing, and sure to please your guests.

Plays a bit one note - but the note is pretty good. Drinks a bit past medium with a nice, rich chocolate note. I think espresso draws out the limited acidity a bit more, giving a tinge of sweet blackberry. It has some natural sweetness, and while not complex this is pleasant, easy drinking and versatile.

Cupping Method:Tried as espresso and pourover. Got as part of a sampler I bought from Vibrant.

This was a solid Costa Rica with a chocolate lead and some strawberry notes. I think it's slightly hoppy or woody towards the back end of the palate. Not sure if it's a freshness or a roast note. I still liked it overall.

Cupping Method:Pourover, 197F with Hario v60, 18:1 ratio. One of 6 coffees from a Vibrant sampler.
