Just 15 years ago, "Panama and coffee" were not synonymous. Today, Panama has some of the best coffee in the world, the most expensive coffee at auction and also, Panamanian coffee is one of the most used origins in international competitions. However, 15 years ago, Panama was not known as a coffee producing country. It was not until 2004, at the "Best of Panama" auction, that the Geisha of a lot at Hacienda la Esmeralda was discovered and Panama managed to position itself for the first time as one of the leaders in specialty coffee and "Super Specialty .” From that moment on, Panama became an attractive point for roasters and coffee buyers from all over the world. Taking into account that in addition to the Panama Geisha, the country has many other traditional coffees of very good quality such as Typica, Catuai, Caturra, Maragogype, Bourbon and Pacamara.

The best coffee roast we've ever had was from Cafe Unido in Panama City. It was a Panama Geisha Light Roast from the Highlands of Western Panama.

Incredible strawberry and elderflower notes on the nose, vibrant acidity, and incredible sweet complexity on the finish. We bought some after having it brewed with V60 in their cafe, and nearly two years later, it is still the best coffee we have ever had anywhere in the world.

These guys ship to the US too!
