Cupping Method:This is part of our Expert Picks Series. This comes from Riley Westbrook, Co-Founder of Valor Coffee from Alpharetta, GA.
The first on my list was a washed Panamanian Geisha roasted by Theory Coffee Roasters from the Hacienda La Escondida lot, grown at 1750 meters. The experience of drinking this coffee was unforgettable because of its sheer elegance & clarity. It was this incredible layered note of jasmine white tea and bergamot with a clean finish that lasted for minutes. It was so delicate and precise in its cup profile that it made me remember why I fell in love with coffee in the first place. The coffee was an excellent example of great terroir being combined with careful processing to produce an absolutely amazing product.
