Very nice, flavorful, nutty, cold brew. Not bitter at all, but brewed quite strong. Some peach and earthy notes.

Cupping Method:I had this at Ripa in Barcelona. I think it might have been their C-04 Kenia filter roast, but I didn't confirm.

A nice lighter roaster espresso. Blackberry, green apple, and chocolate with a little earthiness. Some light notes. Dark roast drinkers will find it a little bit too acidic. Tried V's latte and thought it works very well in milk drinks. Lighter crema but a very nice mouthfeel and a pleasant linger of medium length.

Editor's Overview

During our recent excursion to Barcelona, we had the opportunity to explore Ripa Coffee, an establishment known for its dedication to the craft of coffee. Situated in the city's bustling heart in the too hip Eixample area, Ripa Coffee offered an experience that seamlessly combined tradition with modernity.

Upon entering Ripa Coffee, we were immediately struck by an interior design that balanced contemporary aesthetics and a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

Notably, Ripa Coffee prided itself on its assortment of single-origin roasts. The baristas at Ripa Coffee demonstrated an impressive mastery of their craft.

We noted that the ambiance of Ripa Coffee resembles that of Syra Coffee, another prominent specialty coffee establishment also from in Barcelona that's expanded across Spain. This commonality in ambiance could be attributed to the shared essence of the city's coffee culture, which seemingly favored a particular aesthetic and atmosphere. The parallel between these two establishments underscored the thriving specialty coffee scene that Barcelona had come to be associated with.
