Modero Coffee Roasters

To everything, there is a time: a time to work and a time to rest, a time to make haste and a time to pause. Modero exists to create interludes for our guests to recoup, reflect, savor a drink, and converse. We seek to cultivate space for the slow work of perspective and presence. We hope you'll join us. Modero, a specialty coffee shop and cafe located in The Logos library, offers a wide menu of coffee and non-coffee drinks and a rotating selection of artisan foods. We source and roast all coffees and espresso through our long-time roaster, Levi Hartsfield, who moved to Texas to open up Tag Coffee, an online based coffee company. Levi joined our team in 2012 and served for six years as our roaster, trainer, and consultant. He developed the coffee and espresso standards of our shops and is an integral part of who we are today. We are excited to offer Tag Coffee in our shops, since we know (through experience), Levi's mission to source high quality coffees from around the world and to roast them in such a way that these coffees are brought to their highest potential. In addition to roasting quality coffee, Tag seeks to be a company of "radical giving," so when you purchase their coffee, 50% of the profits will be donated to children's shelters in the San Antonio area.
