My favorite so far from the Cometeer holiday calendar.

Flavorful espresso with massive crema and nice depth of flavor. Rich chocolate, spice, and definitely the cedar note mentioned by the roaster, but presented in a way that's very pleasant. Has some complexity and evolves in the palate. One of the better airport espressos I can remember.

Cupping Method:Equator Coffee kiosk in Terminal A of Logan Airport. Service a little bit disorganized and slow (missed my order). Rating solely based on coffee.

I had a cup to go of Equator's drip coffee at the kiosk in Boston Logan's airport. I noted that it was solid, very chocolate-driven but with some fruitiness. There's a slight wood/spice that's perhaps cedar, but not in a bad way.

Smooth, balanced, nice mouthfeel, good crema, but a bit short on interesting flavor notes. Not bad at all for airport espresso. I get a touch of that robusta streak but it's not too bad.

Horrible cold brew. Very earthy to the point of tasty like mud or dirt. Hides some good sweetness. Long dirt linger. I like a bit of earthiness but this goes way too far. Not really sure what's going on here. They do have a solid earthy espresso. Maybe this Equator vendor tried to use leftover beans for cold brew. Everything is pretty Equator branded at this airport kiosk and editorially our site is about helping people with expectations when they see a coffee roaster or brand.
