As described an easy to drink dark roast with chocolate, caramel, spice, and vanilla. Good crema, and very nice mouthfeel.

Cupping Method:At Highline Coffee in San Diego in the Westin Hotel. It serves Cafe Moto.

Smooth, slightly nutty, smoky, vanilla. A lot of natural sweetness on the caramel side. A bit one note and for me could use some more acidity and/or complexity, but single note is a good note.

Cupping Method:Cold brew at Highline Coffee in San Diego. They told me this was the blend used.

Editor's Overview

We found a cafe featuring Cafe Moto coffee when we were in San Diego. We think dark roast and Italian-style coffee drinks will like Cafe Moto. All or most of their beans are organic, fair-trade, and kosher, so it will be a good choice for many who care about sustainability. -Ted Chan, Managing Editor
