In 1993, Rapid City didn’t have a source of fresh roasted coffee, so an idea was born. After purchasing a home roaster from Europe, many hours of roasting, blending, along with trial and error, led to the decision to start the first local roasting company in our region. We opened our doors in 1995 (garage doors originally) and now operate in a 3,200 square foot roasting facility in Rapid City, SD. In June of 2020 we closed our retail brick and mortar location and evolved into an e-commerce company. The advertised physical address is our roasting and shipping facility so there isn’t an access for walk in customers. All orders are processed and shipped directly to your home or business from that location in the region of the American West called the Black Hills. Our mission is to provide the best Specialty Grade coffee available at a fair and reasonable price and deliver it to you at it’s peak of freshness. There are higher priced coffees available in the world but we choose to concentrate on high value specialty coffees. We roast, package and ship Monday – Thursday and are closed on holiday’s.
