Atlanta Coffee Roasters

Since our beginning in 1983 as Coffee Plantation, LTD, our shop has always offered something special: amazing specialty coffee, roasted fresh, and at an amazing price. At that time, there were not very many specialty coffee roasters in the city. You could look around and see Atlanta Coffee & Tea and then Martinez & Sons, but specialty coffee was unheard of. The Shreider family laid the groundwork by building an old-fashioned coffeehouse with a West Coast emphasis on specialty grade coffees. Bill Letbetter, our current owner, co-purchased the shop in 2005 and has added his scientific approach to our roasting. Anyone can import coffee, but the trick is finding the farmers that have the passion for what they do and their communities.
