Cupping Method:3x pourover, 18:1, 196F. This coffee was part of Leaderboard, and I scored all 9 points guessing that it was a Colombian co-ferment since that's where most of this experimental type processing is coming out of.

This roast won the prestigious People's Choice award from the Leaderboard Coffee game. This award is selected by game players from the specialty coffee community from 10 roasts via blind tasting. We add these winners as a five-star review.
Wow, this is the most uniquely flavored coffee I've sampled! It is a bit hard to tease out from a single cup, but the flavors were distinctly melon-centric. I feel like I could taste ALL the melons at once-- watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew, balanced out with an underlying earthiness. The earthy/floral/melon aroma that accompanied the cup was an additional unique surprise. I imagine that a flavor profile this unique could be quite divisive, but I liked it. Less remarkably, there was a nice, sweet acidity and a rich mouthfeel.
What an incredible aroma! Delicious, wow!
