Dark trip with appealing aroma. Good depth of the chocolate flavor and caramel sweetness. A touch cherry and a touch oaky middle of the palate and a chocolate linger on the finish.

Cupping Method:Drip from the Levain in Boston Seaport. Brewed/served quite hot.

Roast Level: French
A French roast is a deeply dark and robust coffee roast known for its intense flavor and smoky undertones. Achieved through extended high-temperature roasting, the beans are transformed into a glossy, nearly black shade with a rich, oily surface. With low acidity and a bitter-sweet taste, this roast offers notes of dark chocolate and caramel, making it ideal for those seeking a full-bodied and bold coffee experience. Its versatility allows it to shine in various brewing methods, including espresso and drip coffee, and it pairs well with milk and other additives, making it a popular choice for indulgent specialty beverages like cappuccinos and lattes.
