The specialty coffee industry in Vietnam has been gaining traction in recent years, with its Robusta coffee making its way into third-wave coffee shops and retail markets, driven in part by its diaspora. While more than 90% of coffee produced in Vietnam is robusta, they also produce some specialty-grade Arabica coffee. Vietnam's Central Highlands are a highly productive plateau for coffee plants.
